Although summer is more than halfway over and the first day of school is approaching, there are still events to enjoy before the big day. So here are some August events you don't want to miss!
August 4th
Falcons Connect 2026 at Ebenezer Elementary Playground
Cornwall-Lebanon School District is excited to offer Falcons Connect, a free program for Falcon families to meet, interact, craft, and play outdoors with CLSD teachers! Thanks to funds from the GIANT Feeding School Kids initiative, CLSD Food Services will offer a meal for children through 8th grade.

Free food, activities, and meet local law enforcement, first responders, and many local businesses. Great night for everyone.
August 7th
Join us for story time where we'll read 2-3 books. Great for kids up to 8 years old (but everyone is welcome!). Free to attend.
August 8th
Mad Hatter Glow Paint & Sip All Ages
Join Mimosas & Masterpieces for our first-ever in-person Glow in the Dark Paint & Sip Party!
Feel free to bring your snacks and drinks along! This is an all-ages paint night!
Ticket fee: $45 includes: 16x20 black canvas pre-sketched with your choice of Shrooms, Grinning Cat, or Tea Cup Stack. Or- we’ll leave it blank for you to do your thing!
You will receive a set of brushes that you can take home with you; paint and all the supplies needed to create your masterpiece!

Camp Rockss Presents Teen Night Across the Decades! Teens 14 to 18, join us for games, crafts, snacks, and a teen movie from the 00s!

4th Annual ELCO Back to School Picnic
Food trucks, games, DJ, photo booth, first responders, and more!

August 24th
Discover the vibrant flavors and versatility of tomatoes at "Nourishing the Neighborhood: Taste the Rainbow of Tomatoes." Penn State Extension Master Gardeners will share guidance on selecting varieties, best practices for planting and growing, managing common pests and diseases, and harvesting for peak flavor. An extension health and wellness educator will lead a live bruschetta demonstration, offering a tasting of colorful tomato varieties paired with balsamic vinegars while highlighting simple, healthful ways to enhance fresh produce. Participants will receive a copy of Identifying Diseases of Vegetables and a bottle of balsamic vinegar to take home. This grant-funded program is designed for Lebanon County seniors engaged with the YMCA Community Garden and will also serve as a pickup location for Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program vouchers. This event is being offered at no charge to participants.
