Center for Community Resources

Our mission is to make a positive difference in everyday lives by connecting people to a network of supports and services essential for actively learning, working, and living in the community.

Service Access & Management Inc

SAM Support Coordination services are committed to supporting individuals and their families throughout the lifespan. We recognize that individual needs and their families can change over time and throughout the lifespan; therefore, we take an individualized and person-centered approach to our efforts and support.

We recognize and value that individuals, their families, and communities are rich in resources. We believe in teamwork and serving others. Therefore, we ensure that our staff have the necessary resources, information, and knowledge to help individuals and their families navigate their communities and the developmental disability service system so that persons served can define and achieve their vision of a good life.

Lebanon School District Special Education Services

Special Education services are available for any exceptional student who requires specially designed instruction to meet their educational needs. Instructional assessment is provided to identify students through screening and evaluation activities. Identification activities are completed routinely by school staff using psychological assessments, achievement testing, group-based data, curriculum-based evaluations, medical records, and teacher reports. Students routinely identified include those with disabilities such as autism, pervasive developmental disorder, blindness, visual impairment, deafness, hearing impairment, emotional disturbance, intellectual disability, neurological impairment, specific learning disability, physical disability, other health impairment, speech/language impairment, or are identified as gifted under Chapter 16.

Developmental & Disability Services of Lebanon Valley

Children in Lebanon County with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other social delays will have the opportunity to further develop social skills by participating in small group sessions held at Developmental & Disability Services of Lebanon Valley. The social skill groups are planned and taught by Lebanon Valley College Professor and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, Michelle Scesa, M.A.CCC-SLP, with group activities led by student volunteers. Activities may include role-playing, games, and educational exercises to help children learn how to navigate various social situations. Taking part in social skill groups helps children learn from their peers and increases their understanding of body language and non-verbal cues.

Lebanon County Community Health Needs Assessment

We are a not-for-profit entity that coordinates efforts to improve the health and quality of life of Lebanon County residents based on the results of various community needs assessments performed throughout the County.
